FIRST VIRTUAL ANNUAL TRAINING EVENT, AGM & CIVIC OFFICE OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Wednesday 24 March 2021 10.00 am until 1.30 pm
We are delighted to be able to share details of our first Webinar on Wednesday 24 March 2021 from 10.00 am.
We know how disappointed many were that we had to cancel the 2020 Training Event and AGM in March 2020, but it has given us the opportunity to look at a different way of delivering our event.
It will focus on three key areas of interest to those working in Civic Office
- Performance Management in the Civic Office
- Event Planning for the future
- Update on OLB and a look into the future for the Platinum and other anniversaries
The event will also feature the Civic Office of the Year Awards and the Annual General Meeting.
We know that many members attach great importance to networking with others, to share ideas and discuss problems. Networking will be different at this event, but there will be plenty of opportunity for questions and answers and a platform for making contact with officers you have not previously met.
The cost for one delegate to attend this Webinar is £50. If three people from the same authority attend, then we are discounting the cost to £130. The cost will be discounted further if more than three attend. We have kept the fee deliberately low, because we know that constraints on budgets are greater than ever.
The formal notice of the AGM, the Agenda and a Nomination Form for the Executive Committee are on line. If you wish to be nominated for the Executive please note that this year all nominations must be received no later than 1800 hours on Tuesday 23 March 2021.
Many of you will already have this date in your diary. The booking form is now available on the NACO website so please do make sure you register your attendance as soon as possible.
As ever the Executive Members have worked hard to put together a programme, which they believe will appeal to many of our members.
