VE Day 80th Anniversary

Following on from the enormous success of D-Day 80, all efforts are now focussed on the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of VE Day which marked the end of the war in Europe and WWII as a whole on 8th May 1945, in a similar way. Read more

LGiU Councillor Awards - call for nominations

The Local Government Information Unit (LGiU) is inviting nominations for their Councillor of the Year Awards. There are five categories - Community Champion, Leader of the Year, Young Councillor of the Year, Innovator of the Year and Lifetime Legend. Read more
